TeraXion Inc. an indie Semiconductor company ("TeraXion", the "Company" or "we") recognizes the importance of protecting Personal Information, which is any information about an individual that directly or indirectly identifies the individual ("Personal Information").

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes the steps TeraXion takes to protect the Personal Information it collects, uses, discloses, processes and retains in connection with the operation of its website and its ongoing business activities. 

This Policy is defined and intended to comply with the provisions of the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (ARPPIPS), as amended by S.Q. 2021, c.25. 

The Policy does not extend to sites/services operated by third parties. TeraXion is therefore not responsible for their privacy policies, procedures and practices. 


For the purposes of this Policy, collection of Personal Information by TeraXion includes only information necessary for the purposes of its activities. This includes information relating to your identity, such as your names, addresses, telephone numbers, demographic information and information relating to the use of the website.  


TeraXion collects, uses and discloses Personal Information for the purposes identified at the time of collection, such as when an individual completes an information request via the Company's website. 

Examples of purposes for which TeraXion collects Personal Information, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Manage requests for products and services; 
  • Personalize the browsing experience; 
  • Evaluate applications in the Careers section; 
  • Manage voluntary subscription to marketing communications;

Through the Company’s website: 

TeraXion may collect information about Website visitors. This information is collected through the use of cookies. Cookies are files containing a small amount of data about the user. This data may include an anonymous unique identifier and is usually stored on the user's computer. Upon entering the Website, TeraXion will seek consent before collecting any information. 


All Personal Information stored on TeraXion servers is secure and is only accessible to employees who have a right to access it in the course of their duties. Please note that TeraXion is part of indie Semiconductor, a company headquartered in California, USA. 

When we disclose your Personal Information to third parties, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the rules set out in this Policy are complied with and that such third parties provide sufficient guarantees for the implementation of appropriate technical and organizational measures. Such third parties will not be able to access Personal Information beyond what is reasonably necessary to achieve the purposes set out in this Policy. 

TeraXion is committed to neither selling nor sharing Personal Information with other third parties, except in cases where: 

  • It is required by law; 
  • It is required for any legal proceedings; 
  • It is necessary to prove or protect legal rights; 
  • As part of a commercial transaction, to potential buyers if the company changes hands.  

The servers containing Personal Information are located in Quebec, Canada. However, it is possible that cloud storage and the communication of Personal Information to certain technological solution providers may result in the transfer of such information outside Quebec. In such cases, TeraXion will ensure that your Personal Information is adequately protected. 

TeraXion has implemented measures to ensure its compliance with Personal Information retention and destruction obligations. 

Personal Information collected by TeraXion shall be retained only as long as necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes for which it is collected. Notwithstanding the foregoing, TeraXion will retain your Personal Information when such retention is required to comply with applicable legal obligations. 


TeraXion has implemented various physical, organizational, contractual and technological security measures to protect the confidentiality and security of Personal Information under our control. 

TeraXion employees are bound by confidentiality agreements and receive regular training on information security, cybersecurity and privacy. IT systems comply with industry-recommended security frameworks and protocols. 


As a person whose Personal Information has been collected by TeraXion, you may exercise the following rights: 

Right to access, correct or complete your Personal Information: Upon written request and upon presentation of proof of identity, you may consult your Personal Information, verify its accuracy and request that the necessary corrections be made, subject to exceptions provided by law. 

Your request for access or rectification must be sent to the Protection of Personal Information Officer and will be processed no later than thirty (30) days following the date of receipt of your written request. 

Right to withdraw your consent: You may withdraw your consent for your Personal Information to be used by TeraXion for purposes that are not essential to the management and administration of its products and services. Withdrawing consent to the use of your Personal Information for purposes related to the management and administration of products and services may terminate your contract. 

Right to file a complaint: All complaints concerning non-compliance with the principles set out in the Policy shall be forwarded to the Protection of Personal Information Officer. 


This Policy may be amended on occasion to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the Personal Information collection process. TeraXion recommends that its users check this page from time to time to stay informed of any updates to this Policy.
