TeraXion Announces Shift in its Ultrafast Laser Products

At the LASER World of PHOTONICS fair in Munich, TeraXion announced a shift in its family of ultrafast laser components. The business revealed its strategy to expand its product offering to include other components in the value chain and become a single source for pico- and femtosecond laser fiber components.

At the Canadian delegation cocktail held during the fair, Ghislain Lafrance, Vice‑President, Commercialization and Technology, stated the shift is expected to capitalize on the significant recent growth of ultrafast lasers. Lafrance also indicated that the strategy’s success relies on a sustained internal R&D program and collaborations with strategic partners.

LASER World of PHOTONICS is one of the largest laser fairs. It welcomes nearly 35,000 visitors and brings together over 1,300 exhibitors every two years. TeraXion had the opportunity to meet many clients and a number of potential partners during the four‑day event.
