We're looking for someone to join our mechanical engineering and integration team who'll help to develop products for the optical detection, RF components and laser markets.
A Methods Engineer/Specialist...
- Participate in the product development phase and generate the documents required for step-by-step assembly;
- Anticipates manufacturing requirements;
- Ensures the conformity and proper use of assembly tools and jigs;
- Defines and optimizes manufacturing methods, and ensures that design intent is properly conveyed;
- Understands and integrates the processes involved;
- Works closely with designers, process engineering and production;
- Ensures the updating of assembly documents, drawing standards and PDM vault updates;
- Participates in the transfer of designed products to production and supports them (continuous improvement).
Your profile...
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent;
- Between 3 and 5 years' experience in engineering, methods or processes;
- Knowledge of SolidWorks modeling software and PDM vaul;
- Good knowledge of spoken and written French;
- Meticulous, autonomous, team player;
- Experience in optics and electronics (asset) ;
- Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (asset).
