The ClearSpectrum™– LDC is a latchable, compact and low power consumption adjustable dispersion compensation device for remotely control dispersion correction of high The unit has broadband capabilitites allowing dispersion tuning from –1800 ps/nm to +1800 ps/nm to compensate for any wavelength in the optical C band. The LDC uses FBG multi-channel capacity combined to TeraXion’s dual grating tuning system to provide “colorless” operation. The product is based on state-of-the-art tunable FBG based dispersion compensation scheme developed by TeraXion. The LDC has been tested under program specific platform deployment conditions. The dispersion adjustments offered by the device also make it suitable as a dispersion emulator for test and measurement applications. |

TeraXion has developed a platform enabling active frequency stabilization of a laser to correct for long term frequency fluctuations. TeraXion’s proprietary hardware and embedded firmware allows locking of a laser frequency on an external atomic or molecular reference to improve its stability. Depending on the required performance, the laser can be automatically locked on the side or the bottom of a specific gas absorption line. Active frequency stabilization can also be integrated with TeraXion’s proprietary linewidth narrowing platform. |
