Ultrafast fiber lasers
With their ability to cut into materials and tissues without generating heat, Ultrafast lasers
(which include femtosecond lasers or picosecond lasers) are making big inroad into many micro machining and medical applications. To make these lasers, high-quality pulse stretchers are required. Through its deep knowledge in making dispersive FBGs showing low levels of phase ripple, TeraXion has developed the capability to make customized pulse stretchers hard to match.

Ion gas laser substitutes
Ion gas lasers are well established as light sources used in many industrial and biomedical applications. When reliability and long life expectancy are important, it is a good idea to replace them with semiconductor-based lasers. The main drawbacks of semiconductor lasers are their lack of wavelength stability. To cope with this problem, TeraXion has developed the PWS-NLS, which is an ultra narrow band laser stabiliser available in a wide wavelength range.
