Both static and tunable dispersion compensators can be used to emulate chromatic dispersion of transmission fiber such as G.652 and G.655 in R&D or manufacturing environments. Our tunable narrow-linewidth, semiconductor-based, very-low-noise laser sources are used for 100 Gb/s and beyond new R&D coherent system developments.
