IN-LINE DISPERSION COMPENSATION

Static dispersion compensators are used for in-line dispersion compensation acting directly on long-haul and metro links, point-to-point spans and hut-skipping configurations. Typically, in-line dispersion compensation is intended for high-speed DWDM networks using G.652 and G.655 fiber types for 10 and 40 Gb/s signals.
